"For those of you considering any mod to your vehicle that includes a towelette of 3m adhesive promoter, spend the extra $7.00 or so and get this pen. It allows you to place promoter exactly where you want it, and not have it drip all over the place. In my case I installed wood grain dash panels in my truck and didn't even open the towelette they gave me. The contents of the promoter can actually damage painted or dyed parts, so accuracy is a necessity. This pen delivers perfect applications and sped up the process considerably. I had enough to do my full dash (sides, front, doors), plus use it pre-door handle and mirror cover installations, and still have about half left."

"This promoter pen is the way to go if you are doing a dash kit. Your dash is a focal point on your car so you don't want to do sloppy work and most kits give you a "disposable" promoter pen that does not lay down the promoter in the most precise fashion. It can put promoter even on the most narrow spots. This pen is worth every penny that you pay. "

"If you want your window visors, door handle covers or any thing you use with 3M tape you gotta use this product. Never worry about anythig coming loose or flying off! Great product!"
