Infiniti I35 Performance Exhaust Systems

About Infiniti I35 Performance Exhaust Systems

The Infiniti I35, a mid-size luxury sedan, replaced the Japanese brand's previous I30 model on the American market. It featured a host of improvements over the reliable and well-built I30, the main of which was the new 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 255 hp. The other changes concerned the brakes, steering, suspension system and body styling. New standard and optional equipment was added to the already impressive list, including the traction control and the ESP. The I30 was a luxurious and comfortable car, but the I35 became a real gem in its class, featuring the enhanced road performance in a premium Infiniti package.

CARiD is here to push your car's performance and style even further with premium aftermarket parts from selected manufacturers. Just take a look at our featured exhaust systems for your I35 – they've been built specifically for this car from high-grade stainless steel, durable and corrosion-resistant. Performance exhaust systems free the engine of exhaust gases at much higher rate than stock, increasing the torque and power as well as the fuel efficiency. A low-pitched and sporty exhaust sound is an added bonus, emphasizing your Infiniti's bold and unique style.

Regardless of whether you're shopping for a simple replacement muffler that delivers original equipment (OE) sound and performance or an upgraded muffler which provides a deeper growl with increased power through freer exhaust flow, you'll see choices between "direct fit" mufflers and "universal" mufflers. In this article, we'll help you understand the differences...
It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.
