EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fiber based brake compound with high brake effect form cold and is possibly one of the first ever compounds that can be used for STREET AND TRACK DRIVING. These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under the heat of hard driving. These are not a low dust pad and if your desire is for a low dust premium street use pad, you should consider EBC Redstuff.

When considering full race use, Yellowstuff has been a strong favorite, having been used for two years in the Swedish Camaro Cup and at numerous other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. It is also the choice of 90% of the Mazda MX5 Miata competitors in the UK race series and has an unblemished record as rotor friendly track pad for vehicles up to3500 lbs or 1600 kilos weight or 200 BHP. EBC Brakes produces the largest range of Trackday Brakes in a variety of compounds for both cars and motorcycles. Please note: THERE IS NO WARRANTY whatsoever for any EBC product used in Rally, Racing or Trackday, (Trackday use is tougher on brakes) because of the very demanding environment of racing. Loads, speeds, track length and format, and especially driving styles can vary immensely and can dramatically affect pad life. Standard brake systems even on modern cars are not normally designed for racing and may be totally unsuitable for race use. Simply changing to what is called a "Race formula" pad does not provide you with a race car. Acquaint yourself safely in a test mode to evaluate if any material you use for racing is suitable in terms of braking power, fade resistance and WEAR LIFE. Monitor wear carefully every few laps when first applying products to race or rally cars to avoid an unforeseen short life issue. In spite of the fact that EBC brakes has had many successes in race use of its products, no one pad can solve all brake issues and requirements. This race tech advice is a completely free service given by The manufacturer's race technical staff on their UK hotlines.
