Grille guards belong to those few accessories intended to add instant front-end safety and give outstanding looks to light trucks and SUVs. When properly installed, the grille guard provides a tough shield against everyday hazards, including rocks and whatever else obstacles, not to mention other vehicles on the road!
Properly designed, properly built and properly mounted grille guards offer very good protection for a vehicle front. The protective value of small chrome bars protruding under the bumper is debatable, but there is no denying that they look good and that they provide an excellent mount for auxiliary lights.

A Must Have
2010 Hyundai Tucson

Looks aggressive. Perfect for mounting lights. Installing it was difficult without the proper tools. I install brackets similar to the ones provided on big trucks for hydraulic hose routing. I recommend an air ratchet and short well socket. I did mine with box-end wrenches. With big hands, it was very time consuming. What would have taken me 20 minutes in a shop took me 3 hours. I used a drywall saw to cut the skid guard holes for the brackets. That was easiest part. It's not good for protection but it looks sooooo good. Get one forsure. Especially if you've been accused of driving a soccer moms car.
