When you’re setting up your trailer with a new tow vehicle, several things need to be considered: the ball mount and ball must be rated to take the weight, and the ball has to be at the right height. Once you have determined the proper weight class, choose a ball mount of a high enough class for your trailer, and set up your ball mount and ball for proper towing. Here's how you do that.

"The hitch took over a week before it shipped from originating location. Once shipped, I received it in 1 day. The box was slightly damaged, and a small section of the hitch had chipped paint. Considering the price, it was not worth returning to the supplier."

"Well-built, delivered promptly, and took me a little more than an hour to install myself. It fit perfectly. Requires a long drawbar and about a 5" riser to get the ball in front of and as high as the license plate. "

"I like the design and appearance, however it is a little loose, so I have to put a rubber on the contact to eliminate noise during vibration. The first hole is a little small compared to the remaining two wherein; the key-lock won't fit so you need to make adjustment, otherwise you have to re-drill the first hole to make it a little bigger."
