Injen performance exhaust systems for Honda and AEM stainless steel cat back exhaust systems too offer great power and torque increases.

Supplement its power with that of a performance header and watch as your overall power gain increases beyond your expectation. The Street Race Header for Honda from Weapon-R is tuned to Honda specifications and gives as much as 60-70hp extra. This is matched by a corresponding amount of torque. With these kinds of figures, your Honda will give you increased muscle and pulling power. There is also a range of mufflers that you can incorporate for a true race exhaust experience, complete with the power sound to go with it. All Honda exhaust systems at CARiD come with polished exhaust tips for added gleam. The exhaust tips can also be supplemented with any other from the range available, all of which feature different finishes for appeal.

Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.

    1996 Honda Del Sol
    | Posted by | (Hyattsville, MD)

This did not fit the Honda Del Sol listed! It was way too long for the car so we had to cut and weld part of the piping. Even then the canister had no more room to slide back and it was still poking out from behind the car. The hole tip was sitting way behind the rear bumper. Even if we could have got the tip to sit flush it would have still come into constant with the bumper. Horrible, we had to use the exhaust system without the tip and cut and weld in order to make it work!
