Honda CR-Z Mugen is a high-performance hybrid coupe that was presented at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Under the hood Honda holds 1.5-liter, 16-valve i-VTEC engine coupled with the IMA electric motor producing up to 198 horsepower. The model features a sport-tuned suspension, a high-performance braking system, an aerodynamic body kit that includes grille with LED daytime running lights, roof-mounted wing, and side skirts.
Honda company has made efforts to increase the power to weight ratio to make CR-Z hybrid almost as quick as the more upscale Civic Type-R. Mugen's lightweight 17-inch alloy wheels and removal of everything that was unnecessary have made the vehicle almost 110 lbs lighter than the standard CR-Z version. New Honda reaches 60 mph in 6.6 seconds, such time is similar to the Civic Type R.
