Molded vs Flat Dash KitsMolded vs Flat Dash Kits
There are two types of dashboard kits available on the market today: flat and molded. The difference between these two is based on the shape of the dashboard a vehicle has. Some cars are coming out with a flat panel while others have a board that is curved around the edges or in 3D shapes. Correspondingly, molded dash kits are suitable for the latter kind of the dashboard, whereas flat dash kits are perfect for the first-mentioned type.
Many people think that the genuine material always is better than materials imitating other materials. Even if the real wood is encased in plastic materials it cannot be completely isolated from the environment. Modern synthetic wood materials are so similar to the original that it takes the eye of a true expert to tell them apart.

"I felt that the product quality was excellent, however, the instructions were less than clear, and the extra adhesive that was suppose to come in the kit was not included, so we had to improvise in order to make the product adhere to the dash. Overall, I would recommend this product. It really enhanced the appearance of my vehicle and makes it look VERY expensive."

"Very nice product, good quality and beautiful appearance. The kit is very easy to install, but be careful, the parts sticks so well! Good communication with the seller and fast international shipping. "

"Installation is a bit tricky and slow, but the end result is beautiful! My wife loved the look in the CR-V and she is now thinking that she wants her Mazda3 to be done the same way. The Japanese Cherry wood in the tan interior is great. Mine turns heads, so will yours."

"The product fit well, but I would recommend asking for additional 'glue'. The product came with a type of glue stick that improves adhesion. However, the product can be difficult to work with, especially the curved or ones that require a bend. The glue should be applied liberally, and then the product right away. Wait until it seems dry enough - a few minutes and slowly check for fit. It is probably best to call about color. I ordered what I thought was the same color, but because 2 different companies supply the product the colors were dramatically different. To my good fortune, they actually complimented each other well enough. The kits are a little pricey, but individual pieces are even more expensive. Choose carefully, and ask for samples first."
