The iconic Chevy Bow Tie is one of the most recognized corporate logos of all time, and it’s graced the grilles of millions of cars, thousands of Winner’s circles, and the minds and hearts of generations of racing fans and car aficionados. Here’s a great way to show your brand loyalty, and have a practical item in the trunk or shop to boot. This 27.5'' Wide by 7'' Deep by 11.5' High portable tool chest is perfect for carting around a few hand tools, a set of jumper cables and maybe a pair of gloves and some disposable coveralls for the occasional roadside breakdown - especially if it’s not a Chevy that’s getting fixed. Display this highly-identifiable item next to your car at car shows or at the racetrack so everyone knows where your true loyalties lie.
Fabricated out of 20-gauge sheet steel by the same factory that makes Go Boxes’ mechanics rollaround tool chests, this portable toolbox is professional-grade sturdy. It’s finished in baked-on powdercoat, so it’s almost impossible to scratch. There are two sturdy metal latches, and two sturdy metal hinges, as well as a rubber-coated comfort handle riveted to the lid. The border and lettering are vintage classic Chevy in style, and applied as a high-gloss decal to set off the glossy powdercoat on the main body of the toolbox.
GOBOXES, LLC, introduced their new line of patent pending, premium quality, logo shaped toolboxes at the 2007 SEMA show. GOBOXES has license agreements from General Motors and Ford Motor Company to produce a variety of specialty products, which display the owner’s brand loyalty. John Whitaker, designer and President of GOBOXES, LLC, has taken some of the world’s most recognizable trademarks, the Chevy Bowtie and the Ford oval and turned an ordinary toolbox into a piece of art that any car enthusiast would love to have in their garage. The product that started it all was a mechanic’s toolbox top chest manufactured in the shape of the Chevy Bowtie. The product line was expanded to include a 27”w x 10”h x 7”deep portable box that could be used for tools or detail supplies. After the success of the portable bowtie shaped box, John designed an oval shaped box and the Ford product line was introduced. More logo products soon followed, including a wider selection of enthusiast-oriented items, like magnetic tool trays and workbenches.
