    About GMC Replacement Exhaust Parts

Has the exhaust on your GMC vehicle been growling at you as of late? Perhaps it's just a little too throaty-sounding when you tramp on the accelerator? When your truck or sport-utility is louder than it's supposed to be, chaos ensues: pedestrians and other drivers start giving you dirty looks for busting out their eardrums, your friends and family don't want to drive with you because the sound's so unsettling, and the police in your town are likely keeping a close eye on you – or have already pulled you over and issued a noise violation warning/ticket.

This problem can easily be fixed with a part or two, but you're not enthused about spending hundreds of dollars right now. The dealer sure can be expensive, can't they? Parts outlets aren't much help either, unless you're driving that one-in-a-million vehicle that they stock affordable parts for! When you shop with us, you always get “giveaway pricing” deals on whatever exhaust components you need, be it Cat Converters, Catbacks, Tailpipes, Mufflers, Clamps, Hangers, Manifolds, Seals, or Gaskets. Make no mistake about the exhaust parts you'll find listed, we don't sell you crappy “universal-fit” units, and pass them off as OE! If the part's listed as “OE” or “Original Equipment”, you know it will install, perform, and be as durable as the dealer parts. Our vendors include only the most tested on the market like Bosal, Dorman, and DEC.

The exhaust system is of great significance as it is responsible for ridding of dangerous chemicals. Being a complex unit, the system is made up of numerous components working together and relying upon each other for the whole mechanism to function. Once broken, any piece from the assembly will bring damage to the entire exhaust system. That is why it's so vital to keep each and every component in apple-pie order. CARiD will gladly help you with that difficult yet important task. We store hundreds and thousands of top-grade replacement parts for your exhaust system. Just browse our wide range of products and compare over 21 exhaust parts reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars to choose the right piece for your vehicle.

Regardless of whether you're shopping for a simple replacement muffler that delivers original equipment (OE) sound and performance or an upgraded muffler which provides a deeper growl with increased power through freer exhaust flow, you'll see choices between "direct fit" mufflers and "universal" mufflers. In this article, we'll help you understand the differences between these two styles so you can make a more informed purchase.

"Pipe fit car as specified, and cost about half what dealer wanted. Beefy and well made. I will note that one of the gaskets that came with it was incorrect: It needed a donut type gasket, not the circle that was ordered/sent in error. Muffler shop had one that would fit, so it was not a big issue, but it could have been. Be certain you are ordering the right gaskets: On-line drawings can be pretty spotty."
