Ford Trunks & Tailgates

Ford Motor Company has been around for over a century now and is solely responsible for the refined large-scale manufacturing processes used to create cars and trucks. These processes are respectfully known the world over as “Fordism.” Trunks and tailgates for Ford vehicles can be purchased at a higher price from a certified dealer, or more affordably from many of the renowned aftermarket companies in the market, such as those offered here; namely Replace and Goodmark – two reputable brands known throughout the industry for their commitment to quality control and for following strict OE standards. Most of the other low-cost replacement brands make poor-quality parts that will rust within a couple of years, or won't fit properly without extra tooling from you or your body shop.

Replace makes brand new replacement tailgates for a variety of new and older Ford truck tailgates like part #'s E5TZ9940700A, E5TZ9940700B, E7TZ9940700C. Goodmark is best known for making perfect OE trunk and truck bed replacement panels, along with other accessory parts that will outlast your vehicle under normal operating conditions. A concern that always arises with regard to the OE aftermarket is how the parts will fit. Our affordable Replace tailgates and Goodmark trunk panels and parts are known for perfect fitment, without the need for modification, which can lead to early rusting and make your vehicle look bad.

2002 Ford Explorer | Posted by Edward E | (Orange, CA)

Finding replacement Back Glass Lift Supports was a little complicated for my 2002 Eddie Bauer model. Seems there were two different parts for vehicles produced before and after March 2002. After trying parts from a different supplier and having to send them back (at my expense) I discussed the problem with CARiD. They guaranteed that the parts would fit and they did!
