The 2013 Taurus was introduced by Ford at the 2011 New York International Automobile Show. The very first Taurus was unveiled in 1986. With a bench of awards, gained during its generations, the Taurus continues to surprise the enthusiasts and conquer the new peaks. The 2013 Taurus is another successful formula, presented by Ford. The new model comes with muscular hood, hexagonal-style grille, modified bumper, new air intakes and raised rear quarter panels. These changes in general add a distinctive blend of aggressiveness and elegance to the model exterior. The experiment with trapezoidal shape is the idea of J Mays, Ford Global VP of Design and Chief Creative Officer. So were talking very closely as a global design team about finding a recognizable face for Ford that we could spread around the world, explained J Mays.
The 2013 Taurus will be offered in two variants: base model and SHO model. Both models will have best of everything, Ford has to offer its devotees. The new Ford's flagship sedan is powerful, smart and what is more important it delivers the increased fuel economy. The 2013 Taurus will deliver a choice of power.
