An all-new 2013 Ford Fusion is the second generation Fusion which was launched at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. Being the Blue Oval's contender in the mid-size class not only in the U.S., but in the rest of the world, the model was Ford's most important one to launch at the show. New Ford Fusion has taken many styling cues from the European Ford Evos concept introduced to the world weeks earlier. The new car also borrows styling details from the previous generation Ford Mondeo.
Presenting this model, the auto maker has set new records for fuel economy as well. Offered with three gasoline engines, with 1.6-liter EcoBoost being one of them, the Fusion Hybrid delivers 47 mpg city and 44 mpg highway. When it comes to the looks of the new car, it differs from what the Fusion used to be. Having a top-drawer visual experience, the model gained some emotional appeal. Ford has outfitted the all-new Fusion with numerous high-tech safety options: active park assist, the newest version of the SYNC and MyFord Touch infotainment systems, adaptive cruise control, blind spot information systems, and lane keeping change. The sales of 2013 model will start at the end of 2012 in the U.S. As for the global market, the Fusion will arrive in early 2013.
