Ford Freestar Deflectors

About Ford Freestar Wind Deflectors

Foggy windows are the driver’s pet peeve. What can be more annoying than trying to see out of your window and having to rub it with your sleeve just to see what’s around? Usually this problem arises in the winter, when the air inside the car is full of moisture and warm as a result of the passengers’ breathing, this vapor covers the glass and ultimately reduces visibility. Though many new technologies have been invented to prevent this, they are not as accessible or affordable as we would like. Thus, you can achieve the optimal result by purchasing new window deflectors today.

If you like driving with your window open, but cannot stand foggy windows or sudden winds chilling you to the bone, this is just the accessory for you. Window deflectors have been especially engineered to fit different cars, and must be installed in the window space to ensure maximum protection. Simply by covering the top part of your opened window, this accessory will both deflect winds and rains, while continuing limited air flow inside the vehicle, thus preventing foggy windows. These parts are usually made from fine acrylics and plastics, and can even come with a complete chrome finish for style and elegance.

Do Rain Guards Really Work?
With a rain guard in place, the car can be ventilated when parked, without any worries about changes in the weather. If they function well for this purpose is very much dependent on the vehicle they are mounted on, and the way the air streams around the particular vehicle. If this is the way you intend to use the guards, try to find someone with wind deflectors...
You don’t realize how effective rain guards are until you experience them, and once you have them on your car or truck you wonder how you got along without them. Wind deflectors can be installed in the window channel or they can be taped to the body. Your preference depends on how much you like the way a particular wind deflector looks on your car or truck.

So far it has worked very well. I had tried the in-channel visors, and they are useless.
