I like the Synthamax filter it comes with, it's really nice. The oil free design is holding up quite well. It adds lots of sound under the hood, but not so much where it'll inconvenience others. If anything the intake is the loudest thing on the stock car. As for performance, I actually only feel the power after 5000 rpms, + Gas mileage on the highway increased by almost .5 miles on average. But oddly the city mileage has decreased in my city driving by 1 mile per gallon... Could be that I love hearing the sound by pressing the gas in but I'm not sure. The design on the intake already is pretty much that of a cold air damn. All you're really paying for is the looks, sounds, and the better filter. Granted a slight bit of power. Overall this does make the care sound 10x's faster haha, also, really easy to install, only one screw is kinda hard to reach to remove the factory air box lid. It is just a drop in filter, not much else is required to do this kit. I recommend this for the money, and ease of installation. But if you're all about performance, look to fireworks and or K&N's typhoon. I really do hope this helps someone one day :)
