All products come in a number of series to meet the varying needs of off-roaders.
Factor 55 FlatLink, ProLink, and UltraHook winch shackle mount products are all patented. They are designed to ensure a secure link leaving a strap or cable no chance to escape. If anything, whatever the model, it can be used with synthetic winch ropes and steel winch cables. FlatLink shackle mounts are available in four types: traditional, E (Expert), XXL, and MultiMount, each of which has its own advantages. As an example, MultiMount models have two additional shackle pin mounting holes which allow for multiple pull directions. E versions offer more installation versatility compared to the traditional design.
XXL models are the best choice if you use a wire rope thicker than 3/8 inches in diameter. Factor 55 ProLink shackle mounts also come in the above-mentioned four types. A Factor 55 UltraHook model can be used to perform closed system winching and serve as a conventional hook. Thanks to a spring-loaded safety clasp, it ensures a secure link. What’s more, it has a ball detent clevis pin which is stored in the body of a hook. It can be removed and reinserted into a hook tip to securely lock the latch into place.
