CATALYTIC CONVERTER LIMITED CARB WARRANTY

Limited Warranty: The manufacturer warrants that catalytic converter is free from defects in materials and workmanship subject to the exclusions set forth below. The catalytic converter has been designed to meet the emission requirements specified by the California Air Resources Board for a period of 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation. The manufacturer warrants that the external shell, including end pipes, shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first. At the conclusion of 5 years or 50,000 miles whichever comes first all liability under this limited warranty shall terminate.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER LIMITED FEDERAL WARRANTY

The manufacturer warrants that the catalysts in converters are free from defects in material and workmanship which cause such catalysts to fail to conform with emission reduction requirements specified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for a period of 50,000 miles from the date of installation of said catalytic converters. The manufacturer warrants that the external shell, including end pipes, shall be free from defects to materials and workmanship for a period of five years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever comes first. The required warranty for non-OBDII catalyst performance is 25,000 miles, but due to the high level of confidence in Eastern products, they have increased the warranty to 50,000 miles.

This warranty is conditioned upon the converters being properly installed on the vehicle(s) for which they are designated and cataloged and the said vehicle(s) maintained in proper operating condition according to original specifications. If the warranty claim relates to emission performance, proof of failure of an emission test should be provided. Manufacturer may request proof that the engine was tuned to original specifications and maintained in proper operating condition. This warranty does not cover converters that have been damaged from accidents, road debris, or the use of leaded fuels. This warranty shall give you specific legal rights. The only obligation of the manufacturer under this warranty is to supply the purchaser with a new catalytic converter assuming all warranty conditions are met. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Eastern Catalytic converters will not in their operation, function, or malfunction result in any unsafe condition endangering the motor vehicle(s), its occupants, or other persons or property in close proximity to the vehicle(s) when properly installed on the vehicle(s) for which they were intended.

Failures or defects caused by the following conditions are not covered by this warranty:

Improper installation of the converter on a vehicle that the converter is not cataloged
Failure to maintain the vehicle in an operating condition that meets the original vehicle manufactures specifications
The use of a fuel containing lead
Damage due to misuse, accidents or objects striking the converter
The use of non-CARB approved or modified parts that affect the emissions system

Defects:

If the catalytic converter is defective Eastern Catalytic, Inc. will replace any such defective converter
The manufacturer will cover the full replacement cost including parts and labor for any such defective converter
If the warranty claim relates to emission performance, proof of failure of an emission test or MIL light should be provided. In addition the purchaser may have to provide proof that the vehicle was maintained to the original manufactures specifications

The above limits apply to converters Manufactured by Eastern Catalytic, Inc. and used in the State of California. You may have other rights in the state of California.

Eastern Catalytic, Made in USA, the Best

Eastern Catalytic® - ECO II Direct Fit Y-Pipe Catalytic Converter Assembly

We had our order for another popular brand, but they never delivered and we made a new choice, Eastern Catalytic. We previously chose the one listed above the others, but found out it was more hype than reality. When they could not deliver after weeks and weeks of delays we found Eastern Catalytic and wished we have made them our first choice. Great delivery, great service and it's made in the USA. They have a better quality and more value for the money, and also metal parts they don't even try to copy in China. We are very pleased and we also feel good that we are supporting companies that make their product in the USA. Highly recommend this company and it will be our first choice from now on. We also purchased their other parts and they are great. 5 stars because it was the highest we could give.
