Dodge Dakota Air Intakes

About Dodge Dakota Performance Air Intake Systems

Get superior performance that matches your Dakota's style and design with a new aftermarket air intake. Specially engineered to boost horsepower and torque, the aftermarket air intakes maximizes the flow of more cooler and denser air into the engine. This air consumes a good percentage of the power your engine can generate. When choosing an aftermarket air intake go for one that is custom built for your car's sub model, year, and engine specifications in order to gain the maximum horsepower and torque and avoid fitment problems.

By replacing your OEM air intake with an aftermarket one, you will get not just increased horsepower and torque, but also such improvements as a smoother throttle response, faster acceleration, more powerful engine sound, and even better fuel efficiency. All these improvements come from the higher air flow that will be allowed to reach your engine due to an aftermarket Dodge Dakota air intake. Besides, each custom product includes an advanced air filter that protects your engine from any dangerous particles like small debris, insects, and rocks. Moreover, this filter can be cleaned and reused, so you can save your money because there is no need to buy a new air filter periodically.

Let the engine of your vehicle breathe freely with a quality air intake system. To satisfy the requirement of the most discerning enthusiasts, we've carefully handpicked world-class air intake systems manufactured by the top names in the industry. Engineered to optimize the air path between the air filter and the engine, air intakes provide your vehicle with the maximum airflow and you with a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque. "Same problem with the cruise control. Would have been a twenty-minute install otherwise. Shaved a whole second off my 0-60 time. She used to purr, now she roars. Definitely a good investment."

"I bought this kit mainly for the OE look molded intake tube. I had a K&N panel filter already. I did not observe fuel gains others have mentioned, but I do think it created a slightly smoother RPM band. Hard to explain... A bit expensive for what you get, but at least CARiD had the best price I could find."

"Beautiful piece of equipment. Easy to install. Nice sound and performance. Added gas mileage. Only issue was fabricating brackets to reposition the cruise control. Took longer to fab brackets than install the intake."

"It was extremely easy to install. Took approximately 15 - 20 min. As of now it works great - haven't had any problems with it. The one thing you need to do is make sure you have a good connection with the throttle body."
