Dodge Charger Performance Exhausts

About Dodge Charger Performance Exhaust Systems

The Dodge Charger’s build and practicality propel it into the list of reliable cars. It would be good not to worry about one day getting behind the car and realizing its performance is no longer as radical as it is today. Get a custom exhaust system from CARiD and you won’t ever have to worry about your engine’s power output dipping. Built specifically for the Charger, these performance exhausts unleash power that is trapped within the system to increase the overall power output. They work by increasing exhaust flow and reducing backpressure to an acceptable level, thereby increasing horsepower automatically. Pick the custom exhaust system that is built for your Charger model and specifications to ensure that it matches your engine size. The wrong exhaust system may actually cost your horsepower instead of increasing it. Thankfully, there is a range of Dodge Charger cat back exhaust systems from Corsa, Borla, and aFe, as well as performance headers, pipes and mufflers from MagnaFlow, Gibson, Flowmaster, and BBK for all 1966 - 2013 Challenger models.

Your car’s fuel efficiency will improve significantly and with it your mpg. Combined with careful driving, the extra 2mpg may just increase further, giving you immense fuel savings. Money spent on a custom exhaust system is money spent wisely. All our Charger custom exhausts last for years and are built for tough driving. They typically come in first grade stainless steel which is durable and corrosion-free, and are backed by a lifetime warranty. This basically means that the exhaust is covered for the entire duration you own the car. Aside from that, Dodge Charger custom exhausts sound great. Their deep, pronounced engine note is right for the car size and gentle on the ears. Nevertheless, the sound levels vary from exhaust system to exhaust system, which means you will get the kind of sound you dream of with little effort.

Unbridled power and outrageous sound - that's what accompanies each exhaust system we store for you on our digital shelves. Manufactured from the premium materials using the latest technologies, they all are ready to complete the image of your vehicle and give you instant horsepower and torque gains. After an exhaust system is installed, your vehicle will roar like a lion and run like a cheetah. Have doubts? It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
The consensus opinion among exhaust flow experts is that any V8 engine will benefit from a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe or X-pipe. H-pipes were first installed to quiet this exhaust noise. As with the H-pipe, an X-pipe also affects the sound of the exhaust. With an X-pipe, the two sides of the exhaust system are merged. The exhaust pressure on both banks is equalized and power is increased at all engine speeds.

"I had a mechanic install these for me the other day. And they seem to work very well. There is a smell but that is expected. To replace these with OEM parts was going to be about $1,200 bucks. I was charged $150 to have them put on! So, for half the price and installed, I think that was a good deal! Thank you, CARiD! "

"After searching the web CarID had about the best prices that I could find for the exhaust system that I needed for my 2010 Dodge Charger. I installed the system myself and if you have some experience on cars it shouldn't be too hard for you to do as well. The sound that the exhaust produces is just enough to give you that nice little rubble, and it's not too overly loud inside the car. The only thing that I didn't like about the purchase was that Canada Customs charged me an additional $152.00 USD to clear Customs. That is to be expected cause Customs always wants their share too. I will be back shopping at CarID again soon for a set of rims as they also have a hugh sellection to choose from."
