Some calipers, particularly some of the basic single or 2 piston models, just aren’t that great looking. Painting them will pretty them up, but won’t change their basic design. But painting means a lot of time and effort for possibly questionable results. You can always count on caliper covers to look great. For the average popular late model car they’re available in multiple colors and can even be engraved with the vehicle logo.

"I purchased a set of these caliper covers and had them installed when they rotated my tires. I timed the installation of one caliper (2min 37sec) the tires were already removed and the mechanic didn't know I was timing him. They look soooo good, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to paint their calipers with these covers around. Therefore I highly recommend them. Chris Casner. El Paso, Tx. "

"Best value ever. Looks really good on my white Charger. Installation require you to jack up your car and doing one brake at a time. It helps to keep dust off your brake pads as well as cool pads. Worth the $170 investment!!!"
