Chrysler Prowler Trailer Hitches

    About Chrysler Prowler Trailer Hitches

If you love the adrenaline rush that comes with driving a sports car, then the Chrysler Prowler is bound to arouse your interest. Its conspicuous looks and sharp styling design provides an imposing presence on the freeway. It has a strong engine and a tremendous towing capacity. To fully utilize its raw power, use a trailer hitch from CARiD to attach a trailer to it. The trailer will be useful when you need to ship your home improvement stuff to your house or when you need to haul your bikes to the competition venue. First, determine the towing capacity of your vehicle prior to purchasing a trailer hitch. CARiD stocks products from highly reputable sources. CURT, Reese, Hidden Hitch and Pro Series are some of their best suppliers. Chrysler Prowler trailer hitches are designed to ensure precision and safety. Manufacturers use high quality materials to guarantee a strong and reliable product at the end of the process.

There are different types of trailer hitches to make your section from. Weight carrying trailer hitches, weight distribution hitches and equalization hitches are readily available for use on a small to medium trailer. Larger trailers prefer gooseneck and 5th wheel trailer hitches. In all cases, weight distribution of the load is crucial. Trailers typically transfer 10% of their load weight onto the tongue. Improper weight distribution will impact the rear axle negatively resulting in trailer sway, steering difficulties and creating an unsafe environment for other road users. Chrysler Prowler trailer hitches are a completely welded construction designed to bolt right into your vehicle. No drilling is necessary for this to happen. The installation process is also quite simple. All you need is the right set of tools and an instruction manual to have the installation complete in less than half an hour.

Here at CARiD we have a loyal set of customers, and they are very involved with their cars. That means using them in many ways, or racing them or towing them to car shows on trailers. They know towing, is what we’re saying. And 10 of them left a number of reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. We know you’ll feel the same way after towing your toys around, whether it’s a race car, a trailer full of quads or motorcycles or personal watercraft or full-on camper. CARiD has the parts you need to support your hobby!

When you’re setting up your trailer with a new tow vehicle, several things need to be considered: the ball mount and ball must be rated to take the weight, and the ball has to be at the right height. Once you have determined the proper weight class, choose a ball mount of a high enough class for your trailer, and set up your ball mount and ball for proper towing. Here's how you do that.

"Seems like a good product, but wasn't as easy to install as was written. It claims you can install it in under 30 minutes. I think even if you had a garage with a hoist and a full arsenal of automotive tools, you're looking at 45-50 minutes. And since most people don't have those hoists or tools in their garage... Probably, better to have it professionally installed."

"After a lengthy wait for the hitch, due to a damaged product being delivered via UPS and having to "reorder", Instillation was a breeze. It was very simple to install. I installed it by myself and had NO problems."

"Good product install in minutes. Bought to guard the bumper. Looks good on truck. The tube has three holes to allow it to adjust out or in. Comes with a plastic shim to keep step from rattling and set depth."
