Chevy Lumina Performance Exhausts

About Chevy Lumina Performance Exhaust Systems

Improve the performance of your Chevy Lumina with a custom exhaust system from CARiD. Chevrolet got nearly everything right in the Lumina – it drives well, has excellent performance and offers great value for money. Yet, like in most other cars, its stock exhaust system does not offer anything different. Replacing the stock exhaust with a custom one will help unlock dormant power in the engine to give extra horsepower. You will be amazed at just how much difference this additional power can make in your driving experience. You will be able to accelerate faster, there will be enough torque and pulling power to drive with a trunk full of heavy load or go uphill without slowing down, and you can enjoy greater power at low rpm. CARiD offers you quite a selection of performance exhausts for the Lumina. Borla, Flowmaster, Onki, Gibson, Weapon-R, Zunden, MBRP, and RBP exhausts are excellent choices and will give between 5-10% extra power and torque.

Other than power and torque gains, a custom exhaust will lend a powerful rumble to your Lumina. One of the most striking things about the custom exhaust sound is how smooth it is. All those exhaust system vibrations and squeaks that, sadly, can be heard from the cabin are completely eliminated. And since the Lumina is a considerably quiet car, you will only have your nice-sounding engine note to listen to. Don’t forget the savings you will make over time, because custom exhaust systems are built for long service. They do not break down after a couple of years in use, and will actually be the only exhaust you will ever have fitted into your Lumina. So confident of this are the manufacturers that most of them issue a million mile warranty on each exhaust. From whichever angle you look at it, this is a good deal and should get you heading to CARiD.

Unbridled power and outrageous sound - that's what accompanies each exhaust system we store for you on our digital shelves. Manufactured from the premium materials using the latest technologies, they all are ready to complete the image of your vehicle and give you instant horsepower and torque gains. After an exhaust system is installed, your vehicle will roar like a lion and run like a cheetah. Have doubts? It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. The consensus opinion among exhaust flow experts is that any V8 engine will benefit from a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe or X-pipe. H-pipes were first installed to quiet this exhaust noise. As with the H-pipe, an X-pipe also affects the sound of the exhaust. With an X-pipe, the two sides of the exhaust system are merged. The exhaust pressure on both banks is...

"This is by far the highest quality exhaust system I've ever installed on a vehicle. Installed on my 2012 Silverado with no trouble, other than having to cut the stock exhaust in one place due to clearance issues when removing it. Took a little less than 2 hours. The kit did come without any hardware, but the majority of it was already sent out before I even opened the kit to install it, and the other piece was sent next day to me after a simple call to Borla. Sounds great after that muffler starts to really break in! Combine that with the ease of installation and the quality of the kit, and service that Borla backs it with, and that's what really justifies the price. "
