Chevy Express Performance Exhausts

Chevy’s staying power is legendary, and the Chevy Express does seem to get better with age. But like all things valuable need preservation, your Chevy Express will look and perform so much better when fitted with a custom exhaust system from CARiD. The Express stock exhaust system, like all stock exhausts, is made to standard quality level, meaning it is passable at best. The downside to this is that it can only deliver to a certain point, but can never go beyond that, whether in exhaust flow management, power generation or engine efficiency. A custom exhaust system on the other hand, is built to superior quality levels, its sole intent being to bolster high performance traits in the Express. With the custom exhaust come more horsepower, more torque, smoother engine rotation and more efficiency. Give your Chevy Express a boost in overall performance with custom exhausts from MagnaFlow, Borla, Flowmaster, RBP, Onki, Zunden, Gibson, Weapon-R or MBRP. All brands have a range of exhausts for each Express model giving between 7-15% extra power.

The power gains are so impressive it is easy to overlook every other gain. But there is more to a custom exhaust than just power gains. While increase in power and performance is paramount, sound improvement is also a big determinant of how good an exhaust system is. And with the Express, there is a variety of sound levels to choose from. Because of the wide variety of aftermarket Chevy Express exhaust systems, you can get an exhaust that gives a low engine note, loud aggressive sound or a moderate tone. Most importantly, you will save money when you buy a custom exhaust system. Unlike cheap exhausts that need constant replacement, custom exhausts are built to last and will serve you for many years without leaks or breaking down. This translates to savings off your running costs. Add the discount you are likely to get from CARiD and you get even more savings.

Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.
