If you are looking for a luxurious ride at an affordable cost, then you need to consider the Chevy Equinox. This car has the luxurious comfort of a SUV while retaining the fuel efficiency of a car. It has a great ride quality and a competent styling design. The Chevy Equinox has a decent cargo room at the back. However, if you need bigger cargo space for a specific purpose, then a trailer hitch from CARiD is the way to go. CARiD stocks a wide rang of Chevy Equinox trailer hitches. You only need to determine the towing capacity of your vehicles. Having ascertained that, you are at liberty to purchase the hitch of your choice bearing in mind your towing capacity. It is always advisable to tow according to the weight class of your car. However, some trailer hitches facilitate upgrading your factory installed mount to a higher weight class. Weight distribution of the load is paramount. Consider installing a weight distribution trailer hitch because it distributes weight up to the front axle. Even distribution allows the car to move in a stable manner.
Insufficient tongue weight is the primary cause of trailer sway. Should you find your trailer swaying from one end to the other then you require redistributing your load within the trailer. Also, having too much weight at the front of the trailer creates excessive pressure on the tongue; this then transfers the weight to the rear axle of the vehicle. The front wheels become light on the ground. This scenario is dangerous because it becomes difficult to steer the vehicle properly. You also inconvenience oncoming traffic with your dazzling headlamps. Chevy Equinox trailer hitches are manufactured by the best brands in the country. The design is exquisite while the materials used in the process are high premium quality to ensure a safe and durable product.
Here at CARiD we have a loyal set of customers, and they are very involved with their cars. That means using them in many ways, or racing them or towing them to car shows on trailers. "Like the hitch cover. Goes well with the vehicle. Have a 2012 Chevy Equinox, and the cover color matches well with the logo on the tailgate. Nice and bright medium gold, so you can't miss the Chevy logo."

"The hitch came well-wrapped. When you read the instructions and they suggest you clean, they mean you have to clean the hole. The better you do this, the easier it will be to install. And get some lock tight, red or blue. That's my advice to you. "

"I ordered a Draw-Tite brand hitch but was informed when it never showed that they were out of stock. This firm replaced it with a Hidden Hitch brand of the same fit and function. Quite frankly, it is a dead ringer for the former. I did ask if it came with a ball mount but was told no. Guess what, it comes with a ball mount and a receiver plug. It is a fine product, so all is well that ends well. "

"This harness is a perfect fit for the 2013 Equinox. I did not have to remove any side panels to install. A fairly normal hand and arm can get at the mating chassis connector on the driver's side rear panel. I did read for this vehicle one may have to go to a dealer to have the connector electricity enabled through the on-board computer. It is only for the designers to understand that logic. But it is what it is! I have not probed mine yet to see if the need is there."
