Chevy Cavalier Performance Exhausts

About Chevy Cavalier Performance Exhaust Systems

Keeping up with the latest cars in the market can be hard, but for all the right reasons. Like when you own a Chevy Cavalier that always comes through for you. You can get the same feel-good emotions a new car model would give from your Cavalier with a custom exhaust system from CARiD. Custom exhaust systems are designed to boost horsepower and torque, and enhance overall car performance. In the Cavalier, a custom exhaust will give you as much as 10hp extra or more, depending on which exhaust system you choose. To enjoy the greatest increase in power and torque, consider fitting your car with the Flowmaster or MagnaFlow cat back exhaust system for the Cavalier. Both are available at CARiD and fit most 1995 – 2005 models. Additional custom exhaust kits and components that will boost the performance of your Cavalier include the Weapon-R Cavalier exhaust, Gibson exhaust, Zunden exhaust pipes and tips and MBRP headers and exhaust pipes.

Because of their restrictive design, stock exhaust systems do not optimize exhaust flow. You may have noticed that your Cavalier engine must be worked a little harder for it to give greater torque. The engine note may also have changed over time. Both problems can occur when the exhaust system passageways are not as clear as they are supposed to be due to trapped exhaust gases and high backpressure. A custom exhaust system will solve this problem by increasing exhaust flow which clears the exhaust pipes, leaving the engine free to breathe and give more power. You will also love the new sound your Cavalier gives. Cavalier custom exhaust systems give a richer but controlled sound, which is not too loud as to irritate. You can actually enjoy a fully customized exhaust note from your Cavalier by choosing the right exhaust system from the range available at CARiD.

Unbridled power and outrageous sound - that's what accompanies each exhaust system we store for you on our digital shelves. Manufactured from the premium materials using the latest technologies, they all are ready to complete the image of your vehicle and give you instant horsepower and torque gains. After an exhaust system is installed, your vehicle will roar like a lion and run like a cheetah. Have doubts? It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
The consensus opinion among exhaust flow experts is that any V8 engine will benefit from a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe or X-pipe. H-pipes were first installed to quiet this exhaust noise. As with the H-pipe, an X-pipe also affects the sound of the exhaust. With an X-pipe, the two sides of the exhaust system are merged. The exhaust pressure on both banks is equalized and power is increased at all engine speeds.

"This is by far the highest quality exhaust system I've ever installed on a vehicle. Installed on my 2012 Silverado with no trouble, other than having to cut the stock exhaust in one place due to clearance issues when removing it. Took a little less than 2 hours. The kit did come without any hardware, but the majority of it was already sent out before I even opened the kit to install it, and the other piece was sent next day to me after a simple call to Borla. Sounds great after that muffler starts to really break in! Combine that with the ease of installation and the quality of the kit, and service that Borla backs it with, and that's what really justifies the price. "
