Having been customizing a Cadillac for last six years, a Harrington Park couple created one of only two Australian vehicles to debut among top 50 at the biggest custom car show in the world. The car was named Wild Cad and it's going to attend the Showcase of Kustoms Motorama and the SEMA show in November this year. Mario and Catriona Colalillo, the Wild Cad's parents expect their exclusive 1955 Coupe Deville to get the D-elegance category.

The one-ff Caddy features a 7.4-litre Chevy engine powering a Turbo 400 transmission, a ‘55 Desoto grille, 9-inch rear end, and fully exposed chassis rails. According to, its exceptional exterior paint's value is AU$200,000. The Wild Cad's interior features Thunderbird seats as well as a center-mounted ‘59 Chevy instrument cluster.

The Colalillos confess they've spent thousands of hours when creating this car. Indeed, the vehicle boasts a lot of extraordinary features. The Wild Cad's creators are ready to sell the Caddy when traveling the custom car circuit. At the moment, such celebrities as Metallica’s frontman James Hetfield, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, and basketballer Shaquille O’Neal are already interested in Wild Cad.
