The famous Texas tuner shop created the most powerful Cadillac ever existed. It was called V1000, the 1000 stands for the amount of horsepowers. The CTS-V Coupe is equipped with a 427 cubic-inch LS V8 coupled to a fortified transmission. The powertrain features upgraded parts like: forged low compression pistons, forged steel connecting rods, forged steel crank and ARP main studs and head bolts.
To increase the power output there were installed dual ball bearing turbochargers packs compressing the air into the combustion chambers, assisted by high-flow cylinder heads. Exterior improvements include 15-inch ceramic brakes, lowered suspension and a CarbonAero Hennesseys widebody kit. The turbos boost the torque to 950 lb/ft at 4,000 rpm. It is stated that this monster can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph for 3.5 seconds, the top speed is 230 mph.
A quarter mile race will take 10,9 seconds at the top speed of 136 mph. The Company stated that there will be built only 12 Cadillacs, the lucky buyers will have the possibility to drive on the track with a retired General Motors test driver John Heinricy.
