Features:

  • SS constant-diameter mandrel-bent pipe
  • 3.5” diameter
  • Thermocouple bung
  • Insulated blanket

The original turbine outlet pipe on you Ram pickup was designed with a couple of things in mind. Cost, of course. And it had to be easy to install while the truck was running down the production line, giving the worker roughly a minute to install and torque down the pipe. Much further down the list was a decent flow rate. This mandrel-bent 3.5” pipe has a constant diameter from end to end, and has much shallower bend right where it counts: at the turbine outlet flange. That’s right where the OEM pipe takes a sharp left turn - which just has to be restrictive. This stainless steel pipe is in two pieces for easy installation, and has a thermocouple bung already welded in.

Banks Exhaust Systems are US-made, each unit is precisely dyno-tuned and shaped to fit selected model and production year vehicle and deliver great increase in torque and horsepower. Even the polished muffler tip is built with T-304 premium stainless steel. Each exhaust system has an easy bolt-on installation and requires no modifications to the vehicle for the installation.
