If you’re pulling a heavy load up steep grades during hot weather, high exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) can indicate that you need to let up for a while, but they can also indicate a rich air/fuel mixture, which can in turn be caused by a restriction in the intake airflow system. If EGTs become excessive, they can melt or cause cracks in the turbocharger, and burn, hole, and crack pistons. Protect your valuable engine by monitoring EGTs, so you can shut down and/or make repairs before serious damage occurs, and the best way to do it is with an Auto Meter Pyrometer/EGT Gauge. It’s available with 0°F-2000°F digital display or full sweep analog display with 0°F-1600°F or 0°F-2000°F dials, in 2 1/16” and 2 5/8” gauge housings, in various styles, face colors, bezel finishes and lighting combinations.
Electric digital gauges have bright, LED lit microprocessor controlled displays for the ultimate in precise, high-tech readings. Choose a digital gauge when you need an eye-catching visual reference and an exact numeric reading. Electric analog gauges have a 270 degree, full sweep display that is easy to read from any angle. They’re the best available and the choice of top racing teams worldwide.
Each gauge comes with comprehensive, illustrated instructions, and it’s backed by a limited 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.208.38Brand: Auto Meter Part Number: 8546 UPC: 046074085468
