"Appearance: these black powder running boards look great against my 2013 graphite Q7. Without the extension brackets, they flow seamlessly with the car's lines. Installation: once you get oriented to the installation illustrations and your car, it's not difficult. Took about 1.5 hours per side to install by myself due to their length. I did not use a lift or a jack. I used the box the hardware came in to prop up one end while I secured the other. Their installed height is pretty much fixed, but you have about 1/2" play as to how far in/out you want them. Price/Value: compared to OEM running boards, these are much easier on the wallet! Quality: while the build quality is very high, I took a star off because of it's reduced function when installed as is design-wise, the round tube that frames the running board isn't safe to use as a step due its shape and risk for slippage if your soles are wet. instead of a round tubular frame, a flatter design would increase its safety profile. Looking at their overall width, I like where they sit under the car, but the "tread" area is not substantial for a foothold (I'm basically tip-toeing when I step on them). I ordered the extension brackets, because safety over appearance wins when you have small kids. ;)"

"It took me not more than one hour to install both sides. They look great on my wife's Q7. Only downside is that they're not sticking out as I expected, but still serve the purpose of getting in n out of the car easier than without them. Good quality."

"This is a stylish and high quality runningboard. The look really nice on an Audi Q7 - nicer in fact than the factory fitted version (and 1/3 of the price). It took about 2 hrs to fit and was straightforward. As other people have commented the instructions are poor but if you take the time to pre-assemble the brackets it becomes obvious how to fit them."
