In 1978 ARC saw a need and developed the first race car electrical control. The company wasn't satisfied with the technology of 1930s entailing the connection of the dots: 12 volts to a fuse, a wire to a switch, and a wire to the accessory.
The result was an advancement in car electrics that was granted by the first US Patent for its utilization of high current printed circuitry in automotive power distribution. Later it received "Best New Performance product Award" at SEMA 1982.
