Pre-Filter (799-430) by AIRAID®. The AIRAID Pre-Filter is highly recommended for use over your AIRAID premium air filter in extremely dirty environments. The AIRAID Pre-Filter is manufactured from a durable water resistant polyester material and helps to support longer service intervals for the AIRAID washable air filter that the pre-filter protects. With uniform micro openings that filter out debris 5 microns and larger, the dyno & flow bench testing has proven no significant loss in power or airflow using this product.

The Pre-Filter is engineered to protect the filter under most driving conditions. Every Pre-Filter is manufactured from a water resistant material to prevent splashes of water or mud from saturating the filter. The Pre-Filter is also your first line of defense when driving in harsh, dusty environments. The Pre-Filter traps small dirt particles, keeping much of the dirt from reaching the filter, thereby more than doubling the length of time between necessary filter cleanings. Yet extensive dyno and flow bench testing has indicated no significant loss of airflow or performance when using a Pre-Filter. Each AIRAID Pre-Filter is embossed with the AIRAID logo, and Pre-Filters are available for most AIRAID filters.

AIRAID® was founded in 1997 when they began developing and manufacturing air intake systems for light trucks and SUVs, utilizing the cotton-gauze filter technology that was available at the time. These systems increased airflow and performance while being easy to install, and sold so well that the company soon realized that another source of filters was necessary. They believed they could produce a better quality filter using new technology and state-of-the-art materials, and so in 2002 the AIRAID Filter Company was formed. What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your AIRAID OE replacement air filter or intake system (the “product”), with the exceptions stated below.

What does this warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond AIRAID's reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How long does the coverage last?
This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

What will AIRAID do?
AIRAID will repair any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, AIRAID will either replace your product with a new product of similar composition and price, or refund the purchase price of your product, at its sole discretion.

Limitation of liability
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and AIRAID's entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. AIRAID's liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall AIRAID under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.

This warranty lasts for one year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

AIRAID 90-day limited warranty
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. AIRAID limits the duration and remedies of all implied warranties, including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this express limited warranty. This warranty lasts for 90 days of the product from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

Prefilter For 2010 Titan

Perfect fit. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Took my truck on an 800 mile round trip through rain immediately after installing and it held up great. Worth the price.

Pre-Filter

Basically fits over the filter of your new cold air intake system, nothing more nothing less... suppose to keep your filter clean while still allowing it to breathe properly. Just put it on so can't give conclusive data on that yet. But installation was super easy... Little pricey in my opinion.

AirAid Pre-Filter for 2012 Tacoma

Easy to install. A monkey could do it. Didn't decrease my horsepower. Great product for anyone who has a cold air intake. It makes sense for the price to protect your air filter from water, and it prolongs the cleaning intervals. Why would you not buy this product?
