Universal Peak & Hold Injector Driver by AEM®. 10 Channel. The Peak and Hold Injector Driver will allow you to install high-flow, fast responding, low-impedance fuel injectors, for maximum performance, and trigger them with an ECU with a saturated injector drive circuit set up to trigger high-impedance fuel injectors. Each of the 10 independent injector drive channels supplies full battery voltage to the injector for super-fast injector opening, then when the current load reaches 4.1 amps, the driver reduces current to 1.1 amps to hold the injector open and keep it from overheating. The Peak and Hold Injector Driver is easy to install and works on engines with up to 10 cylinders.

When you modify a fuel injected engine for high performance, you want fuel injectors that can flow a lot of fuel to make the most power, and open quickly for the best throttle response. The highest flowing fuel injectors are low-impedance fuel injectors, and these are triggered by peak and hold injector drivers, which have a fast response time. Unfortunately, most vehicles come from the factory with poor flowing high-impedance fuel injectors, and ECUs with a slow responding saturated injector drive circuit.

To enable you to install high-flowing, low-impedance fuel injectors, and trigger them with an ECU that has a saturated injector drive circuit, AEM offers the Peak and Hold Injector Driver Module. This module contains 10 independent injector drive channels, so it can be used on any engine with up to 10 cylinders. Each channel supplies full battery voltage to the fuel injector for rapid current rise, in order to quickly open the injector. When the current load reaches 4.1A, the injector driver reduces the load current to 1.1A and operates as a constant current source. This holds the injector open, while reducing system power dissipation.

The easy installation is just a matter of connecting the injector trigger wires from the ECU to the module, and then connecting the output wires from the module to your fuel injectors. Any number of channels can be used from 1 to 10.
