The RLX drives well and is Acura’s premium sedan yet. Keep your RLX in top form with a brand new exhaust system to enjoy optimal performance and increased horsepower. These are two definite advantages of buying an aftermarket RLX exhaust because after a short while, the factory exhaust system with which the RLX came will no longer be as efficient as it once was. A misconception a few car owners have and which a lot of drivers know is that stock parts are not designed to last. They are good because they enable us drive from point A to point B effectively, but only for a limited time. Eventually, they need to be replaced.

When the time comes for you to replace your RLX exhaust, consider an aftermarket exhaust from CARiD. CARiD is an authorized dealer of top auto parts brands such as Borla, Weapon-R, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, RBP, MBRP, Onki, Zunden and Gibson. All these brands have exhaust systems for the Acura RLX 2013 model; it is not something you will be looking for in vain. When you buy an exhaust system from any of these brands, you are guaranteed of getting the highest value for your money. And there is another advantage in buying from an official dealer such as CARiD: you get the original manufacturer’s warranty on the exhaust, meaning you get as good a deal as buying directly from the manufacturer; and great customer assistance as a bonus. If (to you) quality, performance and deep sound are a major determinant of whether a car is suitable or not, you may want to consider Gibson’s Race Power exhaust. Easy to install, this exhaust system for the RLX is built for tough driving. No matter how hard you push your RLX, this exhaust does not give away or die down. It is equally a good choice if you want a throaty, deep tone.

Engines have often been compared to air pumps, because the engine that’s most efficient in terms of economy and power is the one that can get air in and out of its cylinders the easiest. That’s why most performance modifications like conical air filters, cold air intake systems, headers, and cat-back exhaust systems are aimed at making the intake and exhaust systems less restrictive. These parts increase the flow of air into the engine and ease the flow of exhaust gas out of the engine. Among these components, headers may be the most difficult to install. In this article, we’ll discuss what headers do, their different types, and how much performance they can add to your car.

You may be wondering why so many aftermarket performance exhaust system manufacturers are offering dual exhaust systems connected by "H-pipe" or "X-pipe" sections. After all, aren't two separate pipes, or so-called "true duals", the best for performance? The answer is no, but to understand why we have to examine how a typical internal combustion engine works.

It's an age-old question that many have asked. Will an aftermarket exhaust be worth the expense? While they definitely can be, an important question to ask yourself is do you care more about the deeper sound they’re designed to produce, or the added performance gained from being less restrictive? As car enthusiasts, we’ve become accustomed to associating the sound of a car with its exhaust. After all, doesn’t everyone have a childhood memory or two of a car and the particular sound it made?

Regardless of whether you're shopping for a simple replacement muffler that delivers original equipment (OE) sound and performance or an upgraded muffler which provides a deeper growl with increased power through freer exhaust flow, you'll see choices between "direct fit" mufflers and "universal" mufflers. In this article, we'll help you understand the differences between these two styles so you can make a more informed purchase.

I couldn't be more happy with this product the sound will blow your mind on whatever you choose to put it on whether it be a six cylinder like I put it on or a v8 very much recommend this product if you want a really nearly sound.
