2013 Volkswagen Jetta Accessories & Parts

I must admit I am a bit disappointed in this product. Upon arrival, I had a very difficult time finding the correct placement of the "clips" for the front windows. After watching many, many videos on the installation process, I was still confused as to if the clips were necessary for proper installation on my vehicle. I contacted WeatherTech and although the were quick to respond to my question, telling me where and how the clips should be placed, I still was having trouble. They also provided me with the names of two installers in my area. When the windows are raised, especially in auto mode, they hit on the vents, detect a block, and automatically go back down. If I "eek" them to the top, I can get them to close. I then decided to contact one of these "professional" installers, and he too was having problems with the install. He did manage to get the clips in place, (I can only assume correctly) and although it is better, I am still having problems with raising the windows. I do like the look and performance of the vents. They do keep the rain from coming in the driver's side window, when driving, which was my biggest reason for purchasing them. I spent the extra money to avoid the mere gluing and placement of the vents directly onto the car. I am considering returning to the installer and seeing what he thinks about my "hang-up" dilemma. Otherwise, I don't know what I can do. If you have any suggestions, or thoughts, I would appreciate the help. I paid a great deal of money for these, as compared to others, and expected better results. Thank You.
