Attached to the seat with elastic straps around the headrest straps and to the front of the seat base, it relies on a non-slip backing on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the seats. Ears that overhang the edge of the bench seat base help keep it straight side-to-side. Additionally, a non-skid backing on the base keeps it from sliding around, allowing your pet to stop sliding around to boot. A more secure, relaxed pet will be happier on long or short rips it he/she isn't afraid of falling off of the seat with every bump and turn. A universal hook-and-loop opening accommodates seatbelts for the occasional two-legged passenger. Also, you can use this opening to operate the seatbelts or utilize the child-seat LATCH anchor to install your Ruff Rider Canine Travel Restraint and keep your pet and the rest of the occupants of the car safe.

Protect your upholstery from sharp claws that can abrade or even puncture it. Most spills will clean up off of the double-coated polyester fabric with no more than a sponge or wet rag. Serious mud or stains can be handled by simply tossing the entire Seat Protector into the washing machine (although you may need a commercial-sized washer). Installing the Protector takes one person only a minute or two, and even less to remove.
