The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. The kit was complete and the product, real wood, was beautiful. Installation was a snap, as all the pieces dry fit perfectly. I have installed these kits in the past, but this is my first experience with Remin. This is by far one of the finest kits I have used over the years. Three of the pieces had flaws in the finish; however, the flaws were not noticeable until after they were installed and seen in the sun. I contacted CARiD, and the matter was taken care of immediately.

Basic Kit and Speedo KitMay 12, 2013 | Posted by Mark K. | 2013 Chevy Silverado (Summerville, SC)I ordered two kits and installed the Speedo kit first. The kit came on four cardboard plaques. I recommend looking at the diagram and numbering the pieces on the cardboard that you are going to use. You will not need all the pieces that you get and some look very similar. Installation was easy. It only took 40 minutes to install everything. I ended up ordering a third kit for the cup holder section of the center armrest. I took before and after pictures and everyone is impressed with how it really improves the inside look of the truck. I recommend the Newport Burl for the light beige leather interiors because it really gives it a custom look. You won't find another one with the same look on the road.

The only fault I found was that the air vents on the driver side were not completely covered around the edges, I think too small trim pieces to go around the edges would do a great deal to improve the appearance. Other than that, it looks great. To make installation easier, number the pieces on the back.
