Made of mirror polished stainless steel, this license plate bezel retains a true chrome look - comes right in the place when you don’t want to go over the top. The trim peace varies in size and shape and typically grips behind the license plate. It protects the paint from scratches caused by loose or vibrating license plate. Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "We just had Rocker Panel Trim 'O-Type' and 'L-Type' put on our 2011 MKZ. They look great! We are very pleased with them. Two cautions...we would never attempt to install them ourselves. We took it to our local Ford dealer. They did an excellent job of installation in a reasonably short time. Cost was just under $200. The fit was very good. Caution #2...The trim just below the crease leaves a fairly sharp edge to the unwary. Washing the car, for example, without being aware, could cause some scraped knuckles."
