What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries. For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Chrome Aeroskin on a 2001Traverse LT1

AVS® 620005 - Aeroskin™ Chrome Hood Shield

After receiving the Aeroskin from Car Id i n a very timely manor I was excited to get it installed but the weather was not conducive since it had been cold and rainy. I was not real receptive to installing it with 3m adhesive tape but in this day and age it is used in so many applications with no problems. Opening the box and retrieving my Aeroskin I was pleased to find that it is a Lund product, I have been buying their products for years. The quality of the Aeroskin is very good. It is a thick acrylic of some sort with a flawless application of chrome. A small, tasteful AVS logo is at the far side. The back side has several strips of 3M tape, applied properly it should stay attached for a long time. The directions are clear and precise followed as written no one should have a problem installing it. Preparation of the vehicle surface is very important and although the directions do not state a minimum for the air temperature, if it is a cool day I would a least put my vehicle in the sun so the surface is warm to the touch. I am completely satisfied with my Aeroskin it gives my Traverse a kind of finished look and blends well with the chrome of the grille surround. If any one is interested I will place a picture of it on the Traverse forum to see how it looks.
