Directions are little vague, but once you get under your car it all makes sence. Front bracket much easier to install then the back bracket, but the front is also not as solid. What i mean by that is,after all is done and installed and all is tight, stepping on the front, there is a slight bend movement in the board, and how it attaches to the car is what moves/bends. The rear doesnt do this when stepping on, the rear is very solid. Does not move or bend when stepping on. But they look great and the boards are really only needed for the kids getting in and out of wifes traverse. "
