    Designed to prepare your vehicle for the racetrack, the Race Pack Total Vehicle System Lowering Kit gives you the most control at high speeds and hard corners of any Hotchkis kit. First, Competition Sway bars quell side-to-side body roll around turns to enhance grip and reduce unwanted weight transfer. And because they’re designed for serious racing applications, rear sway bars are built to provide a minor degree of oversteer that kicks in when it’s most helpful around turns. Shorter swing arm length on the bars provides high rigidity, and heavy-gauge tubing with hollow centers provides the same bending resistance as solid sway bars, but with the benefit of 30% less unsprung weight. And since rear sway bar ends contain multiple mounting holes, customizing the level of stiffness the bar provides is as easy as turning a wrench. Lowering Coil Springs that come with the kit provide over an inch of ride height drop to give your vehicle the lower center of gravity and better aerodynamics that lead to victory on the racetrack.

    A Chassis Max Front Strut Tower brace is included that crosses the top of the engine bay area to secure both front strut towers in place at four mounting points that are drilled during the installation process. As vehicle weight shifts, the braces effectively prevent the strut towers from shifting position and compromising wheel alignment angles and steering response. A Chassis Max Underbody Brace locks the rear suspension subframe to chassis frame rails to ensure alignment stays in specification at the rear of the vehicle as well. Because it’s mounted in a critical handling area of the vehicle, underbody brace tubing is built from aircraft grade aluminum to reduce mass and cut weight. Hotchkis Heavy-Duty End Links also included in the kit are built to withstand racetrack levels of shock, heat, and stress. What distinguishes these link rods is their ability to be length-adjusted at both ends – allowing you to adapt them to work at optimum angles if vehicle ride height is changed. And if you’re setting adjustable coilovers at different heights to “corner balance” the vehicle and distribute weight evenly, Teflon-coated ball joints ensure smooth, quiet operation even when pressures on them vary unevenly from side to side. Heavy duty end links are built with a thicker diameter shaft that’s crafted from heavy-gauge steel, then reinforced with an aluminum outer sleeve to beef up rigidity to racetrack levels.

    Steel tubes found on all Hotchkis brace kits are formed by a Drawn Over Mandrell (DOM) process, which allows manufacturing tolerances that are twenty times tighter than hot rolling process that many competitors use. One-piece billet ends provide easy, strong attachment points and are joined to the tubes by Tungsten Gas Insert (TIG) welding. The process provides clean, even welds and a consistent level of bonding strength on all areas – eliminating inconsistencies which create weak points and areas prone to metal fatigue or failure. An outer finish of powder coat is applied for show car looks and to ensure peeling, discoloration, and deterioration from high underhood temperatures are eliminated. Hotchkis builds all components in the United States, and backs them against failure due to manufacturing defects for three years.
