Body Kits are based on modifications made to race cars to make them more aerodynamic. On the race track, ground hugging bumpers, valances and side skirts reduce the amount of air going underneath a race car, creating downforce and improving traction. If you want to give your car race track looks, doesn't it make sense to buy body panels from a company with actual racing experience?
RKSport draws on years of racing success to custom design each body kit. They apply their extensive knowledge of aerodynamics to your car's classic lines to create panels that both improve and accentuate its style. Every body kit contains everything needed to give your car that sleek, low profile look.
Each body kit is engineered for the specific vehicle. All parts are manufactured from high quality polyurethane to guard against damages that can be caused by everyday driving hazards. Polyurethane panels are flexible, durable and impact resistant. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included.
Following this procedure is extremely important:If a customer fails to fully open up the box(es) and inspect their merchandise for damage, and signs the freight carrier's paperwork indicating that all merchandise was inspected (which is what is stated on all freight carriers paperwork), inspects their merchandise after the freight carrier leaves and then finds damage, or what is called "concealed damage", neither the freight carrier, nor RKSport nor CARiD will be responsible to replace or pay for repairs to the product.

Ease of Installation Price/Value Quality "It took a little adjusting of the fenders and hood hinges, but when we finally got it to set flush...it was a piece of art! The finish wasn't what I was expecting. There are some very minor ripples in the fiberglass, but after six Corvettes I can live with the ripples. The air from the scoop is ported over to the cold air induction and works beautifully. CARiD and RKSport hit a homerun with this one!"

When I say it's a head turner I'm not joking. The SRT8 hood nothing on the RK sport hood. It's the best investment I ever invested in. But the only thing I didn't like was the factory heat shield didn't fit, but overall I love my hood. It changed the whole appearance of the car. Good job."

Had to take them to a spary shop for prep & painting. They fit very well to contours of the C pillar and trunk, except I sanded some down at the roofline to make them blend better at the top. I was skeptical of the "double sided tape" installation approach, but it seems to be quality stuff and is very secure. Great way to help make your ride more distinctive."

It would not fit flat so with the addition of lots of double sided tape it stays in place but one corner is raised about one quarter inch."

The truth is you get what you pay for and this kit lives up to the hype. I installed it myself after about a half a day of tinkering. I would suggest to have a body shop do the work for you if your budget allows. All paint and prep work should be done by a professional for the best results. Great product from a great company."
