The antenna came exactly as promised. Although I had my mechanic install, the antenna, which cost me a little more money, I thought the antenna itself was a very fair price. My radio works, and for that, I am so glad. I drive 54 miles a day to work, and I really enjoy listening to the radio. Was this review helpful for you? Not a duplicate replacement, but was able to make it work. The original cable broke while trying to remove it. Had to re-route the new cable, but it works fine. The reservoir bottle under the fender is now loose to accommodate the long shaft, but no noticeable rattles or noise. Was this review helpful for you? Working with an older vehicle with limited choices can present some problems. I was happy to find a replacement antenna, but some things to note are: some bending of the hardware needed to be done in order to keep it from slipping over itself and out the top of the fender. Even though the antenna came with a multitude of base plates, the angle never was spot on, and in the end, the antenna needed to be bent in order to get it straight. On the upside, you can't beat the price, and it arrived in a timely manner. Was this review helpful for you? I ordered a replacement antenna for my car and it cost me almost 30 dollars. When I got the package, it was an extension cable for an antenna but not my antenna. I called and talked to them and they told me they had to talk to the manufacturer. I was like 'uh okay' so after two days of waiting for them to get approval to get a return label and send me my antenna. Well I was told I had to wait some more because the manufacturer wasn't answering. After about two weeks of this, I finally called Metra directly and the sales rep that handles CARiD sent me my antenna and told me just to toss the extension cable. Was this review helpful for you?
