The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. Grain matched factory grain But the shade of wood was about a shade and a half too dark! Still closer than any other finish that was offered."

Just follow the directions. My only comment was I wish that the Center console accent would have cover the entire console not just the very top. Otherwise, the product is great. Price is high, but the actual cherry wood stands out. I would recommend this product."

The first was a Nissian Murano (in Burl) and when I traded the car 4 years later, the wood dash looked as good as new. The 2nd was for my 2009 Nissian Sentra which I used Real Japenese Cherry wood. The Sentra has a realy plain interior and the wood dash greatly improved it. For my 2009 Murano, I chose the Real Rosewood kit which I highly recommend. This made a major difference in the appearance and feel of the vehicle similar to what you see in luxury cars. The pieces fit great and once they are put on, they don't come off even after years."

There are a few problems with the kit as followed: 1. While the color matches, the grain is different, the factory has logitudal grains while the kit came with circular grains. This is not very noticeable. 2. The fit and finish of most pieces are good except for the center console piece which covers the NAV/video display. The piece is a little too tight which does not allow for room to fit the sides of the NAV/Video display. I am unable to stretch the piece to cover the edges and thus mine coner edges of this piece are lifed. 3. The adhesive on some of the pieces seem to have dried out, the pieces which cover the rear seat heater do not have enough adhesive to make them stick. Overall, this the look is fine."
