The stainless steel pipes in a MagnaFlow System are mandrel bent, keeping their shape through the bends to avoid obstructions to the gas flow. The gases are led into the free-flow mufflers with smooth necks and a straight-through, perforated stainless steel tuning pipe. The pipe is wrapped in a stainless mesh wrap and surrounded by tightly packed acoustical fiber in a lap-joint welded stainless steel body. The muffler is finely tuned to dampen irritating pitch notes and to deliver that smooth, deep and powerful tone that is so characteristic of MagnaFlow exhausts.
