2010 Honda Civic Headlights

To be fair, I'm going to share the good as well so you don't blow off my review as just some unhappy customer. First off the headlights showed up fast, they fit really well, the lights that come with them are nice and bright. The instructions to install were "pretty" good and got me through it. Now some facts: Don't ever think that aftermarkets are better than the design of original equipment manufactured (OEM). Although these are great priced headlights they have major drawbacks. 1) You can not adjust the low beam headlights in the vehicle. It's not going to happen. You will have to re-remove the front end of your Honda Civic if you do not "Guess" the adjustment correct. And you will have to adjust your headlights. Honda, on original headlights engineered a small hole to stick a Phillips head screwdriver in to adjust original equipment. Not these. So be prepared for that. 2) If your passenger low beam burns out you can not replace it without removing your entire front end again. All of this is not CARiD's fault, it's the design of Spec-D. Why do I know all this? After 30 days installed, my passenger low beam light burnt out. I contacted CariD and they were prompt in reply. I did all that they asked, sent an explanation and a pic of the vehicle. Still after 2 weeks I still do not have an answer on a replacement bulb. I went to an auto parts store to purchase a replacement. All H3 bulbs are not created equal. The replacement bulb is too big to fit in the Spec-D light socket, so do not purchase a bulb unseen. Pull the burnt bulb and match dimensions. Now the Honda is sitting in the garage with the front end off until Monday to get another bulb that hopefully fits. I hope you have better luck with Spec-D and with CARiD if you choose to purchase from them.
