Their wide flat surface makes climbing in and out of your vehicle easy – something that will be appreciated by all your passengers whether they are small children or workmen on the job site. Romik is committed to excellence and will always use only the highest quality materials available. If maximum strength is what you’re looking for, Romik’s black powder-coated offerings feature carbon steel construction with a 10-year limited warranty. Produced with higher carbon content, carbon steel is harder than typical stainless steel and extremely resistant to bending or denting.
The best knives are made from carbon steel, and it’s used in a wide variety of heavy-duty industrial applications such as shipbuilding, electrical power plants, and pipeline construction. Or if you prefer the look of polished stainless steel, Romik uses only aircraft-grade T304 stainless steel with precision-fitted joints and hidden welds to ensure enduring strength and seamless appearance. While there are many more economical grades of stainless steel, none are as resistant to corrosion, rust, and pitting as T304 grade, and Romik stands behind their stainless steel with a limited lifetime warranty. No stainless steel products leave Romik’s factory until their industry-best finish is hand polished to perfection and they can pass rigorous quality control checks. Romik Running Board Side Steps come with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. These running boards also feature pre-drilled holes to allow installation of Romik’s add-on second step (sold separately), should you decide to add one down the road.438.90 506.00

The instructions are not great. Just pictures. But I managed to figure it out (correctly I hope). No drilling. I like the looks. It does not butt up against the car. So there is a gap, but I like this so that dirt does not get caught. Good quality. Very little flex when stepped on. The distance they stick out matches where the wheels are. Makes for a smaller area for your foot. If you want access to the full board, you will need to get the extensions. Was this review helpful for you? I purchased these for my wife's 2011 Acadia, so our boys could climb in and out easier. The installation took a little over an hour, directions were a little vague, but once you look under the truck, it all makes sense. Just make sure you match the color dots to the proper side of the vehicle. I did pull the brake lines away from the mounting bracket some, they were closer than I thought they should be. The steps look nice, although there is a small gap between the step and the bottom of the truck. They do not cover the entire space between the tires, which is good because my mud flaps could stay in place. Even though they do run tire to tire, they are more than big enough for what they need to do. The best part is that my boys have no problems climbing in and out of the truck now. In fact the other day one boy climbed in with a toy in each arm and just walked up like nothing. I am pleased with this product. Their quality, looks and function are as good as any I have see on other vehicles. Also, my CARiD.com sales rep was Polite, friendly and overall outstanding, he went out of his way to check with the manufacturer, while I had a short wait on the phone, to insure me that the steps would work with the mudflaps. Was this review helpful for you?
