Most mass production vehicle owners cannot even dream of having the carbon fiber exterior trim in their factory setup. With the Remin exterior kit you can add extra chrome or carbon fiber accents to the places left unattended by the manufacturer. The exterior trim kit provides an effective and affordable solution to enhance the look of your vehicle. Choose from real carbon fiber, chrome, aluminum, and extreme modern colors. The Remin kits are based on measurements taken on each individual vehicle model by the company's measuring team. These measurements are the base for the computer assisted design creating digital patterns that govern the CNC laser cutters producing the kits. Before any kit is commissioned for production, each piece is test fitted to an actual vehicle, to make sure that the fit is perfect and that the piece is easy to place. The CNC laser cutters ensure that every kit is cut to perfection with clean cuts. The advanced color match system ascertains that the factory match pieces get the very same pattern and color tone as the factory installed trim. The trim pieces are mounted with 3M automotive grade adhesive backing for secure permanent attachment. All trim parts, except the real metal parts, are coated in a scratch resistant, UV protecting polyurethane clear coat. This is a coating that never peels and keeps the color of the underlying material intact. With a Remin dash kit you will never have the problems encountered with traditional wood or wood imitation kits, where wood colors bleach and the protective coating peels. I used only 11 of the 22 kit pieces, because after awhile it becomes overkill and not accent. But, that's personal choice and opinion. Separate the pieces from the packing with a butter knife. Easy. Get your own bottle of rubbing alcohol and clean all surfaces real good. Work in 70 degree temps and allow your kit pieces to sit in direct sunlight. This makes them pliable and easier to remove the red backing. Cut your install in half and plan for 50% of surfaces at once being covered with each prep tube solution. And yes, they dry up in no time! If I had one "do-over" using the real brushed effect, I would have painted the shiny finished kit surfaces with a "flat" clear to better match the factory look. "

IT WILL STICK TO THE OUTSIDE SURFACE AND TAKES FOREVER TO REMOVE WITH ALCOHOL. DO NOT USE ANYTHING STRONGER (LAQUER THINNER-TURPENTINE,ETC) IT WILL DULL THE CLEAR FINISH THAT IS OVER THE WOOD. "
