Moldings constructed form ABS, Plated with "Real" Chrome. The real chrome process is a three stage process consisting of Copper, Nickel, and finally Chrome. This process is the highest quality available and rarely found on plastic parts. Most parts sold use vacuum metalizing or an inferior spray chrome look process which is less expensive. Real chrome gives a beautiful finish and is much more scratch resistant. Real chrome is three layers of various metals and hence when metal is flexed enough it will fracture. Dawn tubes that are used to pack the LCM kits have bright green labels reading Do Not Bend. If the installer of consumer bends the part too much the chrome will crack.

Minor fading is normal and is not covered under any warranty. Dawn is not responsible for fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster, or other acts of God that may damage your product or cause a loss of the product.

Chrome Rocker Panels for 2015 ES 350 Lexus

Great service. Quality of chrome rocker panels was good. However, the chrome pieces should be just a little longer to match factory chrome rocker panels of older Lexus models. For some reason, Lexus stopped making chrome rocker panels for this model. Older models came standard with them. Can't order chrome rocker panels from Lexus anymore. You can order painted trim side moldings. This is why I ordered from Dawn. They still fit well and look good.

Great Looking Product on the Car

The product looks great on the car. High quality product that really makes the car look great. The instructions are a little dated. I ended up actually putting the chrome below the doors. I liked that look better than directly on the doors. Would recommend the product.

Lower Chrome Door Trim by Dawn

Overall, a quality product that is excellent but as other reviews noted, did not encompass the full length of the rear doors. The molding itself is heavy and strong, the adhesive used appears to hold very well. Packaging was extremely well thought through with the heavy duty, long canister, no risk of damaging the pieces. Delivery was quick.
