Whether you take your vehicle to the ski slope or the beach, drive it in pouring rain or in the dust bowl, the Husky Cargo Liner will keep your cargo area dry and clean, saving you hours of tedious cleaning and preserving the value of your vehicle. It is made to provide real protection in all kinds of weather and all kinds of conditions. The liner is designed to work perfectly in extreme cold as well as in extreme heat, to protect your floor from melting snow, salt, mud, sand and all kinds of spills.
The channel pattern of the WeatherBeater liner not only looks good. It is also key to the superior performance of these liners. Dirt falls into the channels, leaving the top of the ridges clean. Thus the cargo resting on the ridges is kept clean and dry, even if the channels are dirty and moist. The ridges also help to keep the cargo from slipping, an effect that is enforce by the anti-skid properties of the surface material. A high lip around the perimeter contains dirt and moisture until it is time for cleaning. The surface is made to repel dirt, and the pattern has an open design that is easy to clean.
The perfect fit of the WeatherBeater liner is not only essential for containment of liquids and dirt, it is also an important safety factor, as it prevents the liner from sliding out of place. The liner also has a slip-resistant backing material, featuring Husky's patented SPiN technology with integrated Sta-Put nibs that dig into the original cargo area liner, ensuring that the liner cannot shift.
All Husky liners are made in Polydurathene™, a patented proprietary thermoplastic material that is developed specifically to meet the strict demands of Husky Liners. The material is guaranteed to never crack or warp. It stays flexible even in the most extreme cold. It remains odor free and non-sticky in the most extreme heat. Husky Liners® is a brand of Winfield Consumer Products, a company started in 1988 by Bob Tyler in Winfield, Kansas. He had found that his passion for cleanliness was difficult to combine with his passion for fishing and hunting trips. Cleaning his vehicle after the outings was time consuming and tedious. He looked for real floor protection that didn't interfere with his driving and was easy to take out for cleaning. At that time there were no such products on the market. All he could find were flimsy, off the shelf, universal rubber mats that were designed to fit everything and thus fit nothing, mats that were sliding around, getting stuck under the pedals and leaving large areas unprotected. So Bob Tyler invented a better mat, formed Winfield Consumer Products and started producing the world's first automotive custom fit protective mats. Just take them out, hose them off after a little detergent an maybe some brushing and let dry. No major carpet cleaning or earthy smells that linger. These Husky liners fit perfect and leave generous margins on all sides and really don't slip around. Get them and get happy."

I owned Husky brands floor mats for my pick up truck years ago and found them to be of the highest quality. I wanted a mat for the Equinox that would hold any dirt of liquid I might spill, and these new Husky cargo mats, do just that. You can't find a better floor mat or cargo mat for the price. Well worth the money."

Price/Value Quality "For the price this is a nice liner. If you are comparing the Husky to the WeatherTech liner (I have purchased both in the past), the Husky material is a bit thinner and a bit more distorted (takes longer to form to the trunk). However, it is also a bit cheaper and worth the money. I bought the Husky because of the thinner material, it was easier to trim the material to fit our hybrid. The battery mounted on the back wall of the trunk takes up floor space so every liner we looked at needs to be trimmed. For those looking to add a liner to an FFH, cut the back of the liner about 1.5 inches longer than needed using a utility knife and a straight edge. Slit the corners that will come in contact with the battery about 1.75", on a 45 degree angle. Using contact or pond liner cement, fold the 1.5" flap up, fold over the corners and glue. Also seal the overlap in the corners from the front and back side with adhesive and allow to dry. This will give the same spill resistant aspect of the liner while fitting to the proper size of the smaller trunk compartment. "
